Signal Flags
Circa 1940 maritime signal flags with each showing a letter on the linen hoist using the International Code of Signals which is used by vessels to communicate important messages regarding safety of navigation and related matters, all wool double warp bunting with the original rope tie and toggle, contemporary framing, sold individually. First row left to right: O Oscar = Man Overboard, I India = Coming Alongside, H Hotel = I Have a Pilot on Board. Second row left to right: V Victor = I Require Assistance, K Kilo = I Wish To Communicate With You and J Juliet = I'm On Fire and Have Dangerous Cargo; Keep Clear.
