Exceptional and finely detailed trench art example created from a 105mm tank shell with applied 7.62 mm machine gun bandoliers elaborately and artistically wrapped in an alternating concentric pattern with the top layer overlapping to create a rim or lip. The type of shells used would indicate this piece was constructed during the Vietnam era. 14.5” high x 5” diameter. Item 816.23
