Circa 1900 rare full size cedar wood bait box boat in the shape of a dory, utilized by being towed behind a large boat, with a wood pegged and hinged lift lid used to hold and carry lobsters or live bait, with holes drilled on both sides to allow the water to flow, keeping the catch alive, as found beautiful blue painted surface, very good condition, Cape Cod origin. This would make an exceptional nautical addition in a beach house either hanging from the rafters or beams or as an unusual coffee table.
