Democratic Rooster

Circa 1830 rare and exceptional folk art double sided sheet tin rooster, the official and original symbol of the Democratic political party, in detailed hand painted form with a wrought iron wish bone pole mount holder, more than likely held on the original pole during political events, original surface and condition, contemporary floor mount, ex Clark Garrett Ohio, ex David Good collections. This rooster was featured in the American Garage 2013 Catalog.
Rooster is 21.25" high x 17" wide x 1.5" deep; on the stand 81" high. Item 872.13
